This year’s E3 is over, but that doesn’t mean the big news and big events of 2018 are over. Gamescom, one of its big annual events, is set to be held next month, and Xbox’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb is testing a few things that will be released in the Xbox region soon, as well as an Inside Xbox stream.
One of the latest revelations will be the new PUBG mode coming to Xbox One. Major Nelson didn’t elaborate on the mode, but it will be exclusive to the Xbox booth. The wording here is a bit confusing, making many people wonder if this new mode will be exclusive to Xbox when it launches, but PUBG developer Corp. It is highly likely that this mode will still be brought to the PC version.
Those attending Gamescom will have the opportunity to experience 25 other titles in the Xbox region during the event. Among them will be Ori And The Will of The Wisps, Forza Horizon 4 and new content for State of Decay 2. This will be the first time European audiences have the opportunity to experience these titles firsthand.
Xbox is also planning to announce some new bundles for Xbox One S and Xbox One X, as well as some new accessories. This bundle will most likely have games that are playable in the Xbox region, but the accessories section seems to be more attractive. The new Xbox Elite controller has been rumored for quite some time. The new Bluetooth-integrated version that connects to Windows PC will surely sell like hotcakes to veteran fans.
Hopefully Xbox will have a lot more new stuff when Gamescom kicks off. Inside Xbox Gamescom stream will start this August 21st.
