Recently, Twitch has leaked the income statistics of streamers.
Tens of thousands of streamers whose earnings were revealed after 120GB of data including emails, user information and even Twitch source code was leaked. Most of the information leaks focus on the millions of dollars a year salary of famous streamers like, Felix “xQc” Lengyel and Turner “Tfue” Tenney.
Top Dota 2 streamers were also among those exposed to financial information. Although no Dota 2 streamers made it into the top 200, the biggest names in the sport still make a lot of money. Here are the top earning Dota 2 streamers on Twitch:

Note that these numbers do not include all streams of streamer income and only come from subscriptions, ads, and bits.
These numbers do not include Patreon donations, donations, organizational salaries, individual sponsorships, sponsorship deals or esports prize winnings. It also does not include income from YouTube.
Notably, there are some comments that doubt the accuracy of this leaked information. Streamers like AsmonGold voice out the wrong numbers. Twitch also confirmed many of the leaks but did not say if they were true, while some other streamers believe it to be completely accurate.
AdmiralBulldog, Gorgc Are The Most Earning Streamers From Dota 2
AdmiralBulldog is the highest-earning Dota 2 streamer, significantly ahead of second-placed Gorgc. Those who follow Dota 2 know that AdmiralBulldog and Gorgc have a large loyal fan base.
After them are many famous Dota 2 names including Singsing, Wagamama, mason and others. The highest earning Dota 2 streamers almost exclusively focus on streaming and do nothing else. While there are still many professional players and commentators in the top, it is the full-time streamers who are at the top.
Professional Dota 2 players don’t make much from streaming
In general, professional players don’t make a lot of money from Twitch despite their huge presence in the esports industry in general.
Prominent Dota 2 players like Andreas Franck “Cr1t-” Nielsen, Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, and Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann are among the top 10,000 highest paid streamers but nothing compared to full-time streamers . These three names only earn from $24,000 to $57,000. Many other competitive professional players are also in this range.
Streaming regularly will help them have a steady income from Twitch and many players are forced to spend time both streaming and practicing. However, there is a big difference in the stream.
Streamre earnings vary significantly by region
It is also worth noting that streamer earnings vary significantly by region of that streamer. Overall, European and Brazilian Dota 2 streamers contribute the most revenue.
Former Gambit Esports player Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin is one of the most prominent and most watched streamers today, the 25th largest Russian-language streamer according to Twitch Tracker statistics. However, that was not enough to help him enter the top 10,000 highest-earning streamers on Twitch.

Many professional Dota 2 players who stream regularly don’t make as much money as people think.
Just looking at metrics like followers and watch time, Russian streamers like Stray228, ybicanoooobov, just_ns are all in the top of the biggest Dota 2 streamers but their earnings don’t reflect that. For example, ybicanoooobov gets 80% of the watch time and followers of AdmiralBulldog, but ybicanoooobov earns only 10% of AdmiralBulldog, at just $58,227.81.
This number increases significantly when we look at Dota 2 players who are competing professionally. KheZu is one of the highest earning Dota 2 players in the esports world, as is Brazilian player Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos, earning up to $49,228.04. Big names outside of the Americas and Europe that are seen as wildly successful on Twitch, like Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Mohammed “Attacker” Almheiri, aren’t even in the top 10,000 streamers.
This phenomenon can be seen in other esports titles.
Arteezy is among the highest paid pro players on Twitch
Artour “Arteezy” Babaev streams erratically on Twitch, but he is still among the highest paid streamers on Twitch.
Despite not streaming in 2021 and not streaming regularly before, Arteezy still brought in $67,486.52 over the past two years, according to leaked information. Although that’s not a big amount, it’s still a lot more than regular Dota 2 players.
Of course, this doesn’t include his earnings from competing in Dota 2. Arteezy makes more than $2.3 million in prize money, and that doesn’t include his salary paid by Evil Geniuses.
