Super product PS5 Godfall leaked trailer, revealing the first images of gameplay

In The Game Awards 2019, Gearbox and Counterplay Games has officially announced the existence of Godfall – the first top-notch game on PS5. Godfall is set in a whole new universe where warriors in metal suits must battle mighty enemies from the sky. Godfall will focus on melee and loot collection, supporting solo play, co-op in pairs or groups of 3 players. However, it is a pity that in The Game Awards, the developer did not reveal the gameplay trailer of the game, which makes gamers even more curious.​

Recently, a video believed to be a gameplay trailer of Godfall was suddenly leaked on Reddit, although the video’s poster quickly deleted it, but soon the complete video appeared on other platforms. According to Nibel, who posted the complete video on Twitter, the small video that originally leaked on Reddit was taken from an internal trailer shown in 2019 by Counterplay Games, which could be the first 6 seconds of the PS5 footage that it shows. The player has been viewed or cut from the PC version of the game.

The video shows the environment as well as a segment of the player fighting enemies with a large sword in hand. The video isn’t the most perfect quality, but it does give players a deeper insight into Godfall. After the trailer was leaked, the official Godfall Twitter account also confirmed it was indeed cut from the game itself. The developer also said that it will be releasing more detailed images soon and perhaps it has a slight change from this leaked video.​

Built using Unreal Engine 4, Godfall will be the first game for PS5, and players can also experience this masterpiece with the PC version distributed through the Epic Games Store. Godfall is expected to launch to the gaming community during the Christmas period 2020.
