The story of Ant-Man And The Wasp start with Scott Lang for 2 years under house arrest for his “superhero” actions in Captain America: Civil War. No matter how much adventure Paul Rudd continues in this sequel, he’s forced to return to his San Francisco apartment and put his control bracelet back on whenever employees FBI – Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) decides to check on him. This brings the fun of bringing the superhero characters of MCU back to normal life, with worries and concerns when involved in legal troubles.

We haven’t seen the post-world yet Infinity War What does it look like in Marvel Cinematic Universe. How will the war unfold, how will people survive? How to change things in Avengers 4? Those questions have nothing to do with Ant-Man and Wasp. Many viewers may be disappointed when they hope to see some plot related to Avenger 4, but, the plot of Ant-Man and The Wasp Completely consistent with the original Ant-Man.

The first part of Ant-Man introduces Scott Lang (Rudd) with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). Ant-Man and The Wasp continues their story after Scott’s involvement in the Civil War: It’s Scott’s house arrest and Hope pulling him back into the life of an “illegal” superhero. ” to save her mother, Janet played by Michelle Pfeiffer van Dyne, from the quantum world where she has been trapped for 30 years.

How could Janet survive there after all these years? How can Hank and Hope find Janet? It is these questions that fill Ant-Man and The Wasp with science-related details such as the way into the quantum world. It is this that makes the viewer feel a bit… tired because it is too complicated and confusing.

Ant-Man and the Wasp introduces a few new villains like Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, who stalks the heroes in hopes of stealing their secrets and technology. Or Walton Goggins’ Sonny Burch, an illegal businessman who always wants to steal quantum technology for himself. Goggins had a witty portrayal of his style, while John-Kamen’s performance left little of an impression on viewers.

But the most important is Wasp, Hope van Dyne of Evangeline Lilly, the character almost becomes the central point of view of the film. The Wasp has embodied all of Hope’s qualities, even overshadowing Ant-Man’s abilities. Hopefully Lilly will continue to stick with the MCU in the near future, because the presence of this character brings a lot of excitement to the audience.

Like the first Ant-Man, this film offers many eye-catching visual effects for viewers. The two superheroes often change size from small to large with epic battles – which is the signature trademark of the MCU that makes Ant-Man and The Wasp continue to score with viewers.

The film is as usual, interwoven with humorous elements such as the fact that Scott’s suit for most of the film is broken, making the character unable to control his resizing. Similar to the first part, Ant-Man and the Wasp is like a link between the two Avenger parts (Ant-Man is the connection between Age of Ultron and Age of Ultron). Civil War).

Ant-Man and the Wasp has a lot of comedy, fun, and a bit of Scott’s goofiness as well as the usual creations of the MCU. A film that blends action, comedy, and science elements with many characters appearing on the screen. The fate of all heroes is expected in Avengers: Infinity War continues to be left open. But while waiting for Avengers 4, Ant-Man and the Wasp is really a movie worth watching for the MCU.

Plus mark:

  • Light and funny situation

  • Evangeline Lilly creates phenomenon with character The Wasp

  • Many interesting new villains

  • Eye-catching action with creative fighting scenes

  • The necessary connection after Infinity War and Avengers 4.
