A sad truth is that all humans have to age, even if they are superheroes possessing superpowers, they can’t go against the laws of nature. Looking at their brave image in the movie, has anyone ever tried to ask what their favorite heroes will look like in their late afternoons? Recently, the photographer Martin Beck traveled to many countries around the world to take photos of superheroes’ post-retirement life. Although it’s just a fantasy set, it still makes fans feel extremely interesting. And maybe if the superhero team really “goes to the garden” they will also have a life like this.
Originally in the movie, before becoming superheroes to save the world, they were just citizens living normal lives like everyone else. Therefore, if the world has become peaceful and no longer suffers from the raging of evil, then of course, superheroes will not need to continue fighting anymore. There may also come a time when the next generations of mankind no longer know who they are. At this time, superheroes may only have to stay at home to retire, play with their children and grandchildren, or some people still have to accept the reality of life and make a living.
Not only that, through this series of photos, photographer Martin Beck also wants to convey another message: “We can be heroes” (We Can Be Heroes). Martin said, in his eyes, superheroes do not discriminate against age, gender, race, religion, creed or social status. As long as they are willing to help or sacrifice for others, they can become superheroes. Heroes are everywhere, everyone can become a superhero.
