Masquerade Ball (Hallow’s End) 2nd week event is here! In addition to the second chapter of the Book of Heroes (Rexxar), Legendary Quest or the new Tavern Brawl, we now know more ways to unlock the Golden card. Transfer Student. The regular Transfer Student version was given to players when Scholomance Academy was announced in July, but the golden copy was not. You cannot craft it nor get it in any other way.
When the event was first announced, Blizzard gave an official hint on how to get them. Here’s how:
Hints ask the player to join the old adventure singles, the new Book of Heroes as well as Battlegrounds and Arena. Here are the specific instructions:
- Play a game Dalaran Heist solo adventure.
- Play a Tombs of Terror solo adventure game.
- Play a Galakronnd’s Awakening solo adventure game.
- Play a Trial by Felfire (Story mode, not Challenges!) solo adventure.
- Play a Book of Heroes (Rexxar) solo adventure game.
- Play an Arena game (no run needed, just one match).
- Play a Battlegrounds game.
It is not necessary to play in the above order, you can play whichever one you prefer first. You don’t have to finish every game – concert is fine. It’s not clear to the post how this is calculated, but it looks like if you’ve been participating in any of the above since the Hallow’s End event started it counts. For example, if you play an Arena game right after the event starts, you don’t need to do it again. So don’t be surprised if you get it sooner than expected.
