G2 replaces Ex6TenZ and SmithZz with Lucky and JACKZ from 3DMAX

- Emergenceingame

In June, G2 Esports believes in shox with his new project, along with veterans Ex6TenZ and SmithZz. These two players replaced NBK and apEX on the roster back then before the two signed with Team Vitality last month.

Since starting a new project, G2 got some good results with 9-11 at the FACEIT London Major: helping them secure a spot in the New Challenger round of the IEM Katowice Major in early 2019. But after that, the team failed to impress at ESL One: New York 2018 and cs_summit 3, only ranked 5-6 and 7-8 at these two awards. During that time, kennyS is the only member who has not signed a contract with the team – he has not yet renewed in the squad. G2 present.

Audric “JACKZ” Jug

According to a source from VPEsports, G2 will change two members, aiming for a new and younger project. Ex6TenZ and SmithZz will be benched after 5 months of returning. These two players were replaced by two less experienced players from 3DMAX: Audric “JACKZ” Jug and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang. Both have impressed in the French arena recently and G2 will try with a new breeze in the team.

Both perform well under 3DMAX, but JACKZ is most famous for his shooting ability, and Lucky is adapted to AWP and Rifle. He will help shox as the team’s IGL.

According to sources, contract negotiations with kennyS have made good progress and he will soon renew his contract.

The new G2 lineup is as follows:

France Richard “shox” Papillon
France Alexander “bodyy” Piano
France Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
France Lucas “Lucky” Chastang
France Audric “JaCkz” Jug

France Damien “maLeK” Marcel (coach)

Belgium Kevin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans (substitute)
France Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux (sub)
