Virtus.pro is preparing to make a big change in the CSGO scene. The legendary esports organization is looking to own the AVANGAR lineup, according to a report from DBLTAP.

According to DBLTAP, the process is in the “final steps”. Virtus.pro has long been the home of Polish CSGO and it’s currently unclear where the current Polish roster will head.

In fact, at first Virtus.pro didn’t really use the Polish squad, but the CIS, which included original AVANGAR member Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev.

Virtus.pro has struggled continuously for the past two years after failing to win even tier 2 tournaments. Formerly legendary squad: Filip “NEO” Kubski, Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, and Paweł “byali” Bieliński, VP show us a boom before sinking.

Meanwhile, the AVANGAR roster that made its name in 2019 includes the runner-up StarLadder Berlin Major. In addition to the Major, the team also took home the DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro trophy and BLAST Pro Series: Moscow.
