According to Todd Howard, the famous designer of Bethesda, Elder Scrolls Blades “is a massive first-person role-playing game with console-quality graphics and unique mobile experiences.” However, this is not a mobile-specific product, but will appear on PC, VR and “all the other platforms they (Bethesda) can put on”. In the trailer, Elder Scrolls Blades There are 3 main ways to play, including Abyss, Arena and Town. In particular, Abyss is a game similar to the usual “dungeon crawler” games, but in the first-person perspective with the “swipe to slash” system (Fruit Ninja version. Skyrim?). Arena is the “stage” for those who love PvP, where you can compete with other players.

Town is considered the most quintessential part of Elder Scrolls Blades, which allows you to take on quests and rebuild the town into a place of your own. You can even visit the “Towns” of other players, and connect with players of different platforms such as PC, VR, etc. through the crossplatform system.

A small interesting point for Elder Scrolls Blades players on mobile, is that the game allows you to play in portrait mode. Because, as Todd Howard shares, “you never know when you’ll need a spare arm…maybe, to hold a glass of water…”.

Elder Scrolls Blades will be released for free in late 2018. Starting tonight, you’ll be able to sign up for the game’s Early Access at the following address: https://bethesda.net/play/ blades
