Entering the final day of competition, the DOTA Summit Minor will find the new king to go to the Chengdu Major.

After a convincing 2-0 victory in the losing bracket final against HellRaisers, Chaos appeared in the grand final of the first Minor of this season. Unfortunately, their opponents have only lost two games since the group stage, including a 2-0 victory over Chaos in the final win bracket – Invictus Gaming. From the beginning of the series, the Chinese team was the one to take the lead, constantly overwhelming the opponent with aggressive play. Although iG didn’t show much in the last season of DPC, they completely outperformed the competition.

In game 3, when the score was 2-0 for iG, the Chinese boys didn’t let the North American team breathe. They completely destroy the support and crush the enemy carry. Over 15 minutes, iG led 6K and everything seemed to be over. While Chaos tried to turn the tide in the middle of the game, the advantage that iG had was too great, helping the team to win 3-0 in the end.

Having lost only two games in the entire tournament, Invictus Gaming remained unbeaten in the series and qualified for the MDL Chengdu Major. Unfortunately for Chaos, the team couldn’t beat the Chinese giants. We are only a few days away from welcoming the first Major of the season, with 16 teams in total attending in Chongqing, China.
