TL Sign Alliance Roster - Emergenceingame

Team Liquid is back with a new roster in the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit. The organization announced it on October 2 and already has the signatures of Alliance members.

Team Liquid CEO and founder Victor Gooseense said, “We feel with them, the organization can create something special over the next few years.” This shows that the organization wants to work with the players on the long-term project.

Liquid’s previous roster lasted a constant 892 days, hitting an unprecedented Dota 2 record. After a rather successful TI9 run with Aliwi “w33” Omar, these five Liquid members left the team to form a new organization. Details of Kuro’s new project have yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid will enter the regional qualifiers for the first Major and Minor of the year using the old Alliance roster.

“I always follow the old lineup […] So it’s great to be here. I feel it is an achievement to represent Liquid,” said Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi. He added that the team initially planned to stay with Alliance, but the more they thought about it, the more they decided “this is the time for something new.” “We wanted a new chapter in our lives to continue to grow the way we did,” he explained of the team’s decision.

Liquid’s lineup from position 1 to 5:

  • Michael “miCKe” Vu
  • Max “qojqva” Bröcker
  • Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
  • Tommy “Taiga” Le
  • Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi

In the short intro video, the members all want to win the big trophy this year, but they also mention the bigger goal, alluding to TI10. The journey to the most important tournament of the DPC season begins this Saturday, with regional qualifiers for the MDL Chengdu Major and the Dota Summit 11 Minor.

Europe only has two Major slots, while the likes of Team Secret, OG and the former Liquid squad will all not attend the first tournament. The new Team Liquid will try to win one of two Major slots with the likes of Ninjas in Pajamas, Team Singularity, GODSENT, Ad Finem, Wind and Rain, Hippomaniacs, and Cool Team.
