The Professional Counter-Strike Players Association, or CSPPA, has just announced a new CSGO rating system to improve working conditions for esports members. This new system ensures players don’t have to sacrifice their health to become a pro.
“The current ranking system encourages gamers to play as many matches and tournaments as possible and often does not guarantee teams and players the necessary protection in case they are unable to attend due to health issues. healthy, tired”, said CSPPA. The new CSPPA system includes ranking protection for players if they are unable to attend the tournament due to illness or injury.
The new ranking system has many differences compared to the current systems. For example, it’s more transparent so people know how they’re scored. The changing regulations are administered by the CSPPA board. Regulations include a limit on the number of tournaments over a longer period: 9 months and do not count any matches or tournaments that coincide with the player’s general break schedule.

The results of the new chart are not in line with other ranking systems nor fan expectations. As noted, the CSPPA rankings are different from ESL and HLTV. Some fans on social media disagree with the results of the new rankings.
The CSPPA said in the release that the page ratings are only the first. They still receive feedback about the system from “every member of the CSGO system including fans”. On the CSPPA ratings site, Evil Geniuses is considered the top team, with Natus Vincere in second and FURIA in third. Meanwhile, ESL and HLTV, whose BIG Clan is the number one team in the world, were relegated to 5th place.
