MIBR is preparing to trade Jake “Stewie2K” Yip to Liquid for Epitacio “TACO” de Melo and coach Wilton “zews” Prado.

ESPN said that MIBR is looking to return to the all-Brazilian squad, which means tarik will also be released soon – the organization is currently looking for a new place for this American player.

If this move is successful, TACO will reunite with three of its former teammates, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Fernando “fer”Alvarenga, and Marcelo “coldzera” David after 7 months with Liquid. So did Zews, who left the squad in July 2016 to play for Immortals as a player before changing to a coaching role at Liquid later that year.

After Zews left SK, FalleN’s roster went without a coach for the next two years until the team recruited analyst Janko “YNk” Paunović in August. What will happen to YNk is still a mystery. , but he is also expected to leave the organization.

This news comes after MIBR lost to Liquid in the semi-finals of the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals. MIBR is still having trouble finding the title after a series of unsatisfactory results with Stewie2K and tarik.

On the other hand, Liquid arguably had its best year ever: the team reached the finals of six major events and won two minor tournaments, cs_summit 2 and SuperNova CS:GO Malta, with a strong track record in multiple other events.

This change will not affect MIBR’s BLAST Pro Series Lisbon roster – swag will still be standing-in for fer. The tournament in Portugal will probably be the last time Stewie2K and tarik play for MIBR.

The following MIBR roster changes are as follows:

Brazil Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Brazil Marcelo “coldzera” David
Brazil Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Brazil Epitacio “TACO” de Melo

Brazil Wilton “zews” Prado (coach)

United States Tarik “tarik” Celik (Transfer List)

Liquid’s new roster is as follows:

United States Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
United States Nick “nitr0” Cannella
Canada Keith “NAF” Markovic
Canada Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken
United States Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
