Natus Vincere officially announced Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov as the newest member of the CSGO roster.
The Russian international joined Na`Vi to replace Edward. He will play on loan for Winstrike, becoming the first CIS member to sign a contract in the past 18 months, since electronic was acquired from FlipSid3 in November 2017.
Boombl4 made his breakthrough in 2017 when he signed with EPG in a time when no one knew the name. A key member of the team joined Quantum Bellator Fire and created a buzz in early 2018 when it reached the playoffs of ELEAGUE Major Boston.

“I thank Natus Vincere and the players for this opportunity,” Boombl4 shared on the Na`Vi website. “I will give my best at every game, every tournament, no matter what. There’s a lot of work to do, thanks to the fans for their support.”
Natus Vincere hopes this change will breathe new life into the team as the boys have only won one title this year at StarSeries i-League Season 7. After that event, Na`Vi ranked first. 5 and 4 at BLAST Pro Series Miami and Madrid. Before the personnel change, the team could not qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals after losing to North and Heroic in the second group stage.

Edward was one of the first members of Na`vi’s first line-up since 2009, being the oldest member of the team before the roster change. During his nearly 10 years with Na`Vi – he helped make the team a force to be reckoned with in cs1.6 in 2010 and 2011, and numerous international titles in CSGO. Edward was in the top 20 for three years (2010, 2011 and 2013).
The new Na`Vi squad will have a month to prepare before heading to the next event at ESL One Cologne to defend their championship title.
