CSGO: FNS returns to eUnited

eUnited has signed a contract with former CLG and Cloud9 member FNS.

The Canadian will replace Ace on the roster and take over the IGL role from Relyks – Relyks will move on to be the team’s main AWPer.

With the presence of FNS, eUnited hopes to improve their tactical diversity, after disappointing results at the last LAN tournament. The North American team placed 7-8 at DreamHack Open Montreal and 3rd in the 4-team MSI MGA Finals tournament.

FNS will start playing on Monday in the ECS League. He has been without a team since July, when he was released by Cloud9 after just three months of playing.

During their time in charge of Cloud9, the team reached the playoffs of DreamHack Masters Marseille but fell in the group stages of IEM Sydney and ESL Pro League Season 7, as well as ECS Season 5.

The Canadian player was praised by new members as well as the organization, and shared his intention to lead the team to the top:

“Not being able to play for the last two or three months is really hard but it makes everything new. It helped me realize what went wrong when I was at Cloud9, but I’m glad they found a confident new roster.”

“As for me, I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the server and play with this talented group of players. This game has been my lifeline for the past four years, and I can’t wait to show everyone what the team can do.

“I have full respect from every player/coach on this team. That’s all a player could ask for, and I cherish the opportunity.

To those who have always supported me, family, friends, fans and former teammates, I appreciate that. Over the past months, I have received dozens of positive messages, and I am very grateful for this.”

FNS will participate in their first LAN tournament with eUnited early next month, at IEM Chicago, starting on November 6, the team will attend DreamHack Open Atlanta.

With these changes, the new eUnited lineup will look like this:
