WarioWare Gold — August 3

Madden NFL 19 — August 10

Available on: PS4, Xbox One, PC

As always, we have a new Madden part. This version will capture “realistic character movement”, allowing athletes to move more realistically on the field. It’s also a game that adds touchdown dances, since it’s only been legal in the NFL recently. The Longshot story mode is back and Ultimate Team features 3v3 matches and bonus leaderboards.

World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth — August 14

True to our expectations, World of Warcraft’s latest expansion is massive in scale. Battle for Azeroth adds two new continents and mysterious islands for you to explore. In addition, the game also comes with new missions, raids and dungeons. The Horde and Alliance will have 4 new races, and you can raise the maximum level to 120.

Shenmue 1 & 2 — August 21

Available on: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Two classic parts of the Sega Dreamcast system are about to return. While Shemnue 1 & 2 are neither remasters nor HD, they do add a few new features: both old and modern controls, an upgraded interface, enhanced resolution, and character voices English and Japanese. They will be a great appetizer to keep you waiting for Shenmue 3 to come out next year.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 — August 28

Available on: PS4

Speaking of remakes, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a full remake of the original Yakuza 2, but improved gameplay as well as added cutscenes to further clarify the game’s confusing plot. In addition, Yakuza Kiwami also has gameplay for the second main character of the game, Goro Majima. If you can’t wait until the end to experience the underworld of the Yakuza, you can check out Yakuza 0, this PC port coming out on August 1.
