Ubisoft just updated the system requirements latest for Watch Dogs Legion. The previous system requirements were announced in September, but since Nivida launched the latest line of graphics cards, players own RTX 3080 will probably want to optimize their configuration and tweak some details.
For the minimum system settings, the GTX 960 Card has been changed to the GTX 970. While for the 4K/ultra settings the AMD recommendation has been dropped and the RTX 2080 Ti is bundled with the 3080. For the Watch Dogs Legion, the only difference between RTX 3080 and RTX 2080 is Ray Tracing (rendering technology creates more realistic light, shadow and reflection effects).
Ubisoft provides separate requirements for both the normal installation and the Ray Tracing installation. Updating system requirements is probably just to meet new technology trends. Players can completely install their device based on the old requirements and still experience the game to the fullest.
The new system requirements also mention unlimited frame rates, multi-monitor and widescreen support, and suggest using DirectX 12 — although DX11 still meets the conditions.
