The galaxy from the popular Star Wars movie is being recreated in Minecraft.
Minecraft is a game that allows gamers to build everything they like, there have been many projects at recreating different game worlds and movies by the gaming community. These include recreating the Middle-earth of the Lord of the Rings, Breath of the Wild, Doom, Half-Life, The Witcher and even recreating the real-life Earth into Minecraft. Not stopping there, a group of gamers seems to have pushed this limit into the universe when building a whole galaxy in the famous Star Wars movie.
Posted on YouTube, a group of gamers with the nickname Vistachess has officially announced the project to recreate a galaxy of the famous Star Wars series in Minecraft. It may sound like too much of a fantasy and difficult to implement but the progress of this project is going well. Start with two of the most iconic planets of the Star Wars franchise, the desert planet Tatooine and the planet Coruscant.
Vistachess says it took them a year to build Tatooine and Coruscant in Minecraft, and now they’ve shared a trailer showcasing the fruits of their hard work. Obviously these two planets are built with great care and detail in Minecraft, starting from the deep ravines and simple towns of Tatooine before moving on to the towering skyline and star-filled portals. Many fans of the Star Wars series as well as the gaming community around the world have warmly received Vistachess’ project of recreating Star Wars in Minecraft. Many gamers congratulated and praised their creations, although some gamers expressed skepticism about when the project would be completed.
