Resident Evil Resistance announces open beta time

Capcom officially announced the start time of the Resident Evil Resistance open beta. Fans can enjoy the multiplayer a week after Capcom released a demo of the Resident Evil 3 remake – the game’s single-player story.

As confirmed, the Resident Evil Resistance open beta will start on March 27, 2020. The full Resident Evil 3 remake, with Resident Evil Resistance, will be available on April 3, a week later. This is a chance for fans to get a feel for the online multiplayer and if they want to buy the full version of the game.

However, such a short period of time will not give Capcom enough time to fix bugs present in the beta. According to rumors, Resident Evil Resistance will have loot boxes and this is something that is quite controversial in other games.

Currently, it is not clear what the open beta of Resident Evil Resistance will have. Capcom has confirmed many of the characters included in the full version.

Participating in the beta will let fans somewhat understand the gameplay between survivors and leaders when the official version is released. Capcom said survivors have many ways to use their skills and how difficult the brains can be for them. There is also no word that RE Resistance will have an esports segment, but that move could help fans take the multiplayer more seriously.

Another thing that Capcom has not confirmed about Resident Evil Resistance is if they plan to add new characters and maps to the game. This mode will feature maps like Casino and Abandoned Park.

Resdient Evil 3 will launch on April 3, 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
