Season 3 of the movie The Witcher officially revealed

The Witcher will continue with more seasons and exciting content.

In a recent announcement, Netflix officially confirmed Season 3 of the popular The Witcher series on its official Twitter page. Attached is a short video showing the symbols of Gwynbleidd (The White Wolf), Zireael (Swallow) and the Obsidian Star. The icons then rotate to the side, showing the representation of Season 3 of The Witcher movie.

While Netflix basically doesn’t give any information about Season 3 of The Witcher, we do know that The White Wolf represents Geralt, Swallow represents Ciri and Obsidian Star represents Yennefer, so we We can expect to see the three of them together in Season 3 of The Witcher, promising new stories about Geralt’s journey.

In addition, The Witcher’s official Twitter page has confirmed the second Anime movie following Nightmare of the Wolf, a Netflix spin-off that premiered in August this year and focuses on Geralt’s mentor, Vesemir. No information has been given about the new Anime movie.

Finally, Netflix has provided two new Season 2 videos, which are expected to premiere this winter, in time for Christmas. The first video gives us a look at the first episode of Season 2, based on the Witcher story “A Grain of Truth”, in which Geralt walks through a manor house inhabited by a man named Nivellen, who has the face of a beast.

The Witcher Season 2: Geralt & Ciri

The Witcher Season 1 ends with the meeting of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Cirilla of Cintra – aka Ciri – as the three separate timelines of the film converge, while the witches include Yennefer of Cintra. Vengeberg fights against the invading Nilfgaardian army. The second video focuses on Geralt and Ciri – complete strangers, destined to meet each other, along with all the strangeness that brings.

Season 2 is expected to start Ciri’s journey in earnest. The film will retell the events of the Witcher’s first novel, The Blood of Elves, interwoven with some of the events of author Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story that follows the character. Stars like Cavill, Freya Allan (Ciri) and Anya Charlotra (Yennefer) will return even though the crew has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
