Resident Evil 2 releases Live-Action trailer

Remake of Resident Evil 2 was released. A few days ago, Capcom released the official trailer for the game. Now, the studio continues to release a live-action remake trailer of the first part (1998). The first live-action remake of RE2 was produced by Night of the Living Dead creator George A. Romero.

Romero is pretty much the creator of the modern zombie and has been a huge influence on the genre in movies and video games, including the first Resident Evil. After the huge success of the first part, Capcom immediately grew Resident Evil 2 and hired Romero as a director to produce the live-action trailer available only in Japan. The developer then decided to make a remake trailer for the 2019 version, with inspiration from Romero’s original trailer.

New live-action trailer of Resident Evil 2 remake introduces the game’s main characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The two must navigate the streets of Raccoon City while fighting off an army of zombies.

A few days earlier, Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 remake will have DLC, allowing players to use the original character models as Leon and Claire. Capcom confirmed the DLC will cost at launch, but will be free to all players as of March 22.

Another DLC will also appear in the game with a new mode called Ghost Survivors. This expansion will be free and will send players to random settings for you to explore Raccoon City, controlling one of the side characters. We still don’t have a release date for Ghost Survivors.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
