Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2001 is being 100% free.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon shooter series, developer Ubisoft is giving away the first Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon game and some DLC for new games for free to the worldwide gaming community.
The first Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon was released in 2001.
Specifically from October 5-11, gamers can receive free Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon game (version 2001) for PC along with DLC Fallen Ghosts of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and Deep State Adventure of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. After receiving the game, gamers can own it forever in Ubisoft Connect on PC while can choose to receive the Wildlands DLC for other platforms such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia or on the Epic Games Store.
Ubisoft also announced a new shooter game in the popular Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series, this version focuses on the Battle Royale genre that is very hot today and will be completely free. Unlike many titles in the series Ghost Recon: Frontline will be in first person, as teams of players battle to find vital information and extract it from the battlefield before it’s too late. Ghost Recon: Frontlines doesn’t have a release date yet, but gamers in Europe can sign up for the Beta program right now.
