The gosu were tested in Dungeon Run mode when BlizzCon officially aired last night. Here are a few that are summed up.
What is Dungeon Run?
Dungeon Run is a new single-player style on Hearthstone, quite similar to Adventure. There will be no new Adventures, but instead there will be Dungeon Runs because their ideas are quite similar, especially when you can replay Dungeon Run billions of times.
You will choose a class to start your Dungeon Run.
After defeating a boss in Dungeon Run, you will be rewarded for improving your deck.
Passive: are cards that give you bonuses in your run.
Treasure: are powerful cards added to your deck.
Card: you will choose between card packs to add to the deck.
There are 48 matches in all, and with the selection of additional effects being different each time, the number of variations of the matches is doubled.
- Losing a boss in Dungeon Run will end your current run.
- If you win a Dungeon Run with all 9 classes, you will unlock a card back!
- And what’s the coolest thing about Dungeon Run? They are completely free! You don’t even need to have any cards in the collection.
Boss
There is no clear information about the bosses, but there are some contents as follows:
Blacksteed
Hero Power: 0 Mana – transforms 1 minion into another minion with more than 1 mana.
Giant Rat
Hero Power: Rat Race (2 Mana) – Summons 2 1/1 Rats.
Elder Brandlemar
Hero Power: Dampen Magic (2 Mana) – Place a secret Counterspell on the field.
Waxmancer Stemy
Hero Power: make 1/1 copies of all minions
Room of Traps
One of the most annoying opponents.
Because of its difficulty, it has a low chance of appearing.
Battlecrier Jinzo
Hero Power is passive, capable of causing Battlecry to activate twice, just like Brann Bronzebeard.
Passive
Each run you have 2 passives and you will get them after winning many victories. Their effect is to increase your strength. Here are the passives that appeared in the Blizzard teaser, but there are other passives that can be discovered in the future
Captured Flag – Your Minions get +1/+1
Glyph of Warding – Enemy Minions are 1 mana more expensive.
Justicar’s Ring – Your Hero Power is upgraded and costs only 1 mana.
Khadgar’s Scrying Orb – Your spell is 1 mana cheaper.
Mysterious Tome – At the start of the game, use 3 random secrets.
Potion of Vitality – Double the starting health.
Small Backpacks – At the start of the game, draw 2 cards.
Treasure
Besides the passives you get after Dungeon Run, there are also treasure cards. Similar to passive, you only have 2 treasure cards per run and will be added after Dungeon Run. Here are the treasures currently available:
Bag of Coins – Fill your hand with Coin.
Boots of Haste – Your Minion costs 0 mana this turn.
Gloves of Mugging – Steal 3 cards from the opponent’s hand.
Horn of Cenarius – Recruit 3 minions.
Rod of Roasting – use random “Pyroblast” until 1 hero dies. This is a treasure that promises to increase the length of trolden’s videos.
Vorpal Dagger – Poisonous + Mega-Windfury (Can attack 4 times 1 turn)
