How to create a drop shadow effect in Photoshop

Download and install the latest version of Photoshop

Step 1: Open Photoshop, create a new image file with the size and background color of your choice by selecting File -> New in the toolbar, or press the key combination Ctrl+N.

For example, the new file has the following parameters:
– Width (width): 500 pixels
– Cao (height): 300 pixels
– Background Contents (image file background color): Select Background Color if you choose the background color yourself.

Step 2: Select tool Text (shortcut BILLION) to type any text, optional font, size, color for text.

Example: Font: Arial , size: 45, white with color code #ffffff

Step 3: Duplicated Layers text by clicking on the toolbar Layers –> Duplicate Layers…

Step 4: Choose Layers just duplicated, click key combination Ctrl+T To adjust the position of this layer, right click select Flip Vertical to reverse the new layer from the original position.

Step 5: Use tools Move Tool (V) to move the adjusted layer below the original layer

Step 6: Right click on the edited layer, select Rasterize Type to change to Graphic

Step 7: Select icon Add Vertor mask to create a mask above this layer.

Step 8: Select region Add Vertor mask of the copy layer, select the tool Gradient Tool (G) to color the text.

Hold and drag the mouse on this layer from top to bottom. Note, you have to drag so that it’s really straight for the new text to be beautiful.

Step 9: Adjust opacity Opacity For the layer just created, adjust about 50% to look more natural.

Step 10: Once done, click the key combination Ctrl+Shift+E To combine layers with the original background image, save the image with the format you want.
