Hearthstone: Shaman is about to be nerfed next week
Galakrond the Tempest full - Emergenceingame

This is good news for those who are looking to climb the current rank (unless you are enjoying the Shamanstone meta). The balance update is coming… next week! This is the fastest balance adjustment ever. The previous record belonged to Rastakhan’s Rumble expansion – patch nerf then released just 15 days after the expansion was available. This time, even if the patch comes out next Friday, it’s still 10 days after the release. This is considered a good sign for the game. Because otherwise, the player count will drop rapidly in this expansion.

This balance update will target Shaman (but could also be some other cards – we’ll just have to wait and see). Most likely it will be the Shaman’s Galakrond (Galakrond, the Tempest). Although not adjusted directly to Galakrond, it is possible that the Invoke cards will be nerfed, which is currently the strongest group of Invoke cards of all classes. It is possible that Hero Power will be nerfed, since it affects the Invoke cards and Galakrond itself. Another potential candidate is quest Corrupt the Watershowever this change alone cannot fix the problem, because the “no-Quest” version has a higher win rate than even the deck with Quest.

As for the cards that are not of the Shaman class, sure Faceless Corruptor, due to this card being so powerful – it is the most popular card in this expansion, and is currently played in nearly 60% of decks (equivalent to Corridor Creeper before nerf and Giggling Inventory). Those who use Faceless Corruptor find it too powerful.

We’ll get notifications of the changes early next week!
