ESL One Genting Dota 2 qualifiers are about to start

The ESL One Genting closed qualifiers will begin a few days before Christmas, and the Chinese qualifiers will take place at the end of the year.

ESL One Genting is the biggest Minor in the Dota Pro Circuit framework. Not only has a total prize pool of $400,000 and 400 qualifying points, the tournament also has up to 16 participating teams. Eight teams have received direct invitations to attend, in addition to one more special guest that has yet to be revealed. The remaining 7 slots will be for the regional qualifiers, China will have 2 slots, while each remaining region will receive one.

A total of 12 teams from each region will participate in the competition. The qualifiers for each region will feature 8 guest teams and 4 teams from the open qualifiers, which took place over the weekend. All regional qualifiers will be played in a knockout format and the 8 invited teams that will qualify for ESL One Genting will be divided into tier 1 and tier 2. Tier 1 teams will have a slight advantage and start Qualifiers in CIS, North America, Southeast Asia, South America and Europe will take place from 19 to 22 December. China qualifiers will take place from 28 to 30 December.
