A champion of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit was announced again at the conclusion of the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor.

On the last day of competition, the losing bracket final was played between Alliance and Gambit Esports. Both hope to progress to the grand finals to qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles Major by winning the Minor. While Gambit beat Alliance in the group stage, the playoffs are a completely different story. Alliance is now ready and has a 2-0 victory over their opponents to face Aster again, this time in the final.

Only in the first two games of the finals did people realize that Aster was completely dominant. It took more than an hour, the Chinese team had 2 games for themselves against Alliance, and only 1 game left to win.

However, when cornered and the chance to survive was about to slip, Alliance fought hard in the next game. Using the Death Prophet lineup to quickly sweep away opponents, Alliance didn’t let their opponents build and became the first team to win a game against Aster at this Minor. Unfortunately, that’s still not enough. When the Alliance attempted to do the same with Death Prophet and Faceless Void in the next game, the plan fell apart.

In 30 minutes, Aster led 11k net worth and Alliance trailed against draft Gycrotoper + IO. The Chinese team completely didn’t give Alliance a chance to come back and take the final 3-1 at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3.

This victory will help Team Aster secure the final ticket at ESL One Los Angeles – the tournament is only a week away from us.
