The final match of StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor took place between the two big European giants – Alliance and Ninjas in Pajamas, this is the rematch of the winning bracket final.

Both teams have already secured the last two spots of EPICENTER, and the match for the Minor title was purely procedural. Alliance and NiP dominated in the group stage and met for the first time in the finals with Alliance as the winning team. After being relegated to the lower bracket, NiP now has a chance to take revenge and take home their second Minor title of the 2018-2019 DPC season.

In the opening game, Alliance completely dominated, sweeping the opponent with Troll Warlord and Queen of Pain. Less than 45 minutes, NiP was forced to surrender to concentrate on game 2.

Everything changed from game 1. Fata’s Mirana got herself 17-1-13 in half an hour of destruction. Entering game 3, Alliance was again the team that took the lead, but NiP fought back with all their might. Just over 30 minutes, NiP took a 2-1 lead and needed just one more game to win the trophy.

Alliance didn’t give up and game 4 lasted an hour. The two sides struggled back and forth, with NiP controlling the game for a long time, but unable to end it. Alliance took advantage of buybacks and effective deployments to equalize the first game and we move into the final game.

Minor’s final game saw Meepo from Ace causing a riot. In the first 25 minutes of the game, NiP destroyed the opponent’s top lane barrack and Alliance soon fell.

Both Alliance and NiP will attend the upcoming EPICENTER Major. In the following week, we will enter the final Major of the 2018-2019 DPC season, with the participation of 14 other teams.
