Kuro “Kuroky” Takhasomi is currently resting. His team did not make it to the first Minor/Major round of this DPC season.

But after TNC Predator won ESL One Hamburg, the legendary captain confirmed he and his former roster Liquid will announce their next move before the WePlay qualifiers! Bukovel Minor begins.

After their journey from the losing bracket of The International 2019, they won the runner-up position, losing to OG. The Liquid roster at the time was KuroKy, Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, Aliwi “w33” Omar, Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, and Maroun “GH” Merhej decided to leave the organization.

“After TI9, I sat down with KuroKy and Mohamed to talk about our future,” said Liquid founder and co-CEO Victor “Nazgul” Goossens. “Unfortunately, they shared that this year, they want to follow their own ambitions and dream of running their own organization.”

In the post, KuroKy confirms that idea, saying “the team will stay the same” and that he will announce more information before the second DPC qualifier, which starts on December 1.

Given the current state of European Dota 2, the old Liquid roster could easily dominate. Alliance is off to a good start, Ninjas in Pajamas is moving to North America, while the new Liquid roster is struggling.
