Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer’s Deagle ace on Banana in Inferno is the take on the decade for CSGO.
Nearly 80,000 CSGO fans participated in voting. The tackles included Jake “Stewie2k” Yip’s Inferno B at the Boston Major, Olof “Olofmeister” Kajbjer’s Overpass boost and Marcelo “Coldzera” David’s AWP jump at Mirage. However, Happy’s ace against Team SoloMid at DreamHack Open London 2015 surpassed all opponents, reaching 36% of the total votes.
If you watch the clip below, you will understand why it was voted the most. Against a tactical TSM, the team that became the Danish tycoon, Astralis, Team Envy chose anti-eco with Happy forcebuy on Deagle. He then used it to finish off all five TSM members, taking three smoke-through headshots.
This handle is not honored by Valve with graffity, but it has clearly been the focus of the community over the years.
Caster Jason “Moses” O’Toole said Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat’s casting abilities in the clip were also “the most impressive casting moments of the decade” for him.
Happy hasn’t commented on the results yet, but we can trust it will make him pretty “Happy”.
