After Peter “ppd” Dager decided to hang up the mouse, the Swedish organization Ninjas in Pajamas disbanded the entire current lineup and signed Akbar “SoNNeik0” Butaev’s Chicken Fighters.
With the exception of Adrian “Er” Kryeziua, this will be the first time the Chicken Fighters members compete for NiP. Era played for NiP almost 5 years ago and is his second largest organization. Era made her Fnatic debut with Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Tal “Fly” Aizik since 2012. The three represented NiP at TI3 and finished 8th. At TI 2014, N0tail and Fly joined the newly formed Team Secret, while Era formed the Swedish team and later signed with NiP.
The past seems to be repeating itself when NiP is signing with Era’s team.
“The chickens turned to the Ninja. After months of unorganized competition, we were delighted to have an experienced professional team sponsor us and help everyone become better, striving for success! I am happy to announce the team will be part of NiP,” team captain Akbar “SoNNeik0” Butaev said in the official NiP announcement.

The Ninjas in Pajams lineup will compete at WePlay! Pushka starts on April 23rd. They will share Europe with teams: Team Secret, Team Nigma, Alliance, OG, Team Liquid and one more team. In the recent ESL One Los Angeles online tournament, Chicken Fighttrs placed 4th, higher than most of the teams that will participate in the Pushka League.
