Dendi and B8 are finally back in professional Dota 2 after almost three months without winning a game. His new B8 roster just took out FlyToMoon 2.0 to avoid being eliminated from the Closed Qualifier BEYOND EPIC Europe/CIS region.
This victory broke the team’s 0-26 losing streak, also the longest losing streak in the history of a professional Dota 2 team.

After forming the B8 team at the end of January, fans had high expectations for Dendi to take the new organization to the next level in the CIS region. However, this lineup did not produce positive results, and then newer teams like VP.Prodigy took all the attention.
In the past week, Dendi has “changed blood” in the squad, replacing every member except him. However, Dendi is not looking for players with a long track record. This time, he found someone more suitable for the role than their previous results.
Two members of the team, Oleg “LastHero” Demidovich and Dmitriy “Fishman” Polishchuk, two CIS players who have been active since 2016 in various lineups have found optimism in B8. Meanwhile, Arets “Crystallis” Remco and Enis “5up” Elfki are two lesser-known young players who have played together in the past.
In addition to Dendi, Crystallis was the standout player in her losing streak. He reached 11/3/20 in a comeback in game one with Ember Spirit. He continued to shine with Monkey King in game two while Dendi stepped back to let his new teammates showcase his talents.

Despite breaking their record losing streak, B8 has not yet escaped the brink of being eliminated from the tournament. They need to beat Vikin.gg or Cyber Legacy to get to the playoffs: this is a tough challenge even for today’s strong teams.
