Rocket League is a hybrid game between racing and football of the manufacturer indie games Psyonix. “Indie” is a term used to refer to indie game makers, or in other words, small game makers with little capital and manpower, not big companies like Blizzard, Riot or Supercell. The success of indie games depends entirely on the content, because advertising costs are very little. In these early days of 2018, Rocket League has entered the 3rd year of operation and owns a community of 40 million gamers.
Thank you from the production team.
The surge in numbers is said to have started when the game launched its version for the Nintendo Switch in November. Gamers can play on the new platform and still keep the same information of the PC version. Even so, this is only the final push by Rocket League which has always been in the top 10 most played games on Steam.
