CSGO: Vitality team replaces Happy with ALEX

Last October, Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire were transferred from G2 Esports to Vitality to form the roster. CS:GO new. The team has grown in popularity over the past few months, featuring former EnVyUs members Vincent “Happy” Cervoni & Cédric “RpK” Guipouy and young superstar, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut of aAa.

Vitality only had one chance to compete on LAN when the team won DreamHack Atlanta in November. The team performed well online, qualifying for the European Minor in Katowice in January. Despite failing to qualify for several other qualifiers, Vitality’s main goal is still to play the Minor and eventually the Major.

Right before the DreamHack Atlanta championship, the team watched coach Philippe “faculty” Rodier break up without explanation. While nothing serious happened on the surface, it was a signal that things weren’t going perfectly inside the team.

According to a source from VPesports, Vitality is looking to replace Vincent “Happy” Cervoni. After less than 5 months together.

The ‘blood change’ process has already begun.

With Happy leaving the team, Vitality is looking for pick from LDLC’s IGL, Alex “ALEX” McMeekin. The English player played in the French arena throughout his career CS:GO and now he has a chance to improve – join Vitality with the potential to play at the Major.

ALEX is famous for his active entry fragger role but he can also play lurk and sometimes join IGL even though that is not his specialty. He has a play style quite similar to apEX, both in style and in roles.

With Happy gone, Ex6TenZ is opening new projects and many changes are happening in both LDLC and 3DMAX; Also some new organizations like Gamers Origin are looking to create a team CS:GO. Over the next few weeks, there’s bound to be a lot going on in France.
