Cong Phuong is the first player to appear in the FIFA 19 super football game

Electronic Arts’ FIFA football game series has always been one of the indispensable sports games and FIFA 19 is the latest game of this series. However, what Vietnamese and Southeast Asian gamers are interested in at this moment is the appearance of three famous names in Southeast Asian football: Nguyen Cong Phuong, Chanathip Songkrasin and Neil Etheridge.

Cong Phuong player must have been too prominent in the Vietnamese athletes world as well as in Southeast Asia. With the starting point as a child player with a lot of potential trained by Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club of the same age as Xuan Truong, Tuan Anh, Van Toan, etc. and has made a special impression on the fans’ hearts through many Tournament from youth to national team with technical style, good pressure.

Last year, after winning the cup with the Vietnamese national team at the AFF Cup 2019, Cong Phuong was sent to play by Hoang Anh Gia Lai to play at Incheon United club on loan. Cong Phuong’s value is up to 425 thousand euros (more than 11 billion dong) and contract release fee is 616 thousand euros (more than 16 billion dong, the contract is valid until 2021).

This is not the first time Cong Phuong has appeared in EA’s game, because before that, Cong Phuong and Quang Hai – Xuan Truong had appeared on FIFA Online 4 with some Vietnamese football legends, namely Hong Son, Huynh Duc. However, to appear on an annual football game series like FIFA 19 is much more special. Hopefully in the coming time there will be many Vietnamese players who will officially be named in the FIFA 19 squad.
