twelfth. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Modern Warfare 3 is a spectacular ending to the Modern Warfare trilogy. The game offers a gravity-defying gunfight on a jet, a frantic and explosive escape from a collapsing diamond mine, and a climactic showdown with protagonist Vladimir Makarov. But besides the eye-catching segments above, most plot very easily forgotten. Although Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 omits many of the introspective and limiting elements of the first game, the quality of this version remains stable thanks to the best voice cast including Billy Murray, Kevin McKidd and Craig Fairbrass.

11. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
The last game in the trilogy Black Ops It may seem like a disappointment at first, but this is the fourth Call of Duty in a row set in the near future. While Black Ops III doesn’t have the details associated with the previous two games, the title makes up for it with the introduction of DNI – Direct Neural Interface – which initially acts as a Simple gameplay mode, allowing the player to hack machines, load data or interrupt enemies in battle, and then quickly become the main focus of the story: Frozen Forest. Frozen Forest is the quest that serves as the highlight of the game. Black Ops III also features professional voice actors such as Christopher Meloni and Katie Sackhoff. In addition, this is the first version of Call of Duty to allow gender selection of the main character.

10. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
This release marks Call of Duty’s first foray into the near-future landscape. Black Ops II delivered a few fan-service moments that were reminiscent of the first Black Ops and also introduced branching storylines into the Call of Duty franchise for the first time. At several key plot milestones, player choices not only directly unlock those moments, but also one of the four endings that follow. It is this point that makes Black Ops II one of those storylines that are a bit bland but still worth experiencing at least once.

9. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
The divided opinions surrounding Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are the inspiration for this list. In general, the majority of players agree that the story is the outstanding advantage of Infinite Warfare. The game remains faithful to the near-future motif and completely switches to the style of space combat. However, the new way of building characters is the real trump card of Infinite Warfare. Some previous Call of Duty versions often defaulted to the sacrifices of supporting characters as major emotional turning points without providing a specific explanation. Infinite Warfare fortunately does not fall into the same situation. The crews in the title have fairly decent character development, their sacrifices having an effect in a different direction from mainstream FPSs.
