Call of Duty Cold War: Gamers have a whole week to shoot Zombies for free

Zombies Mode of the Call of Duty series has been around for a long time, more than a decade now, so it’s hard to get many “firsts” with this mode. With that in mind, Treyarch Studios wanted to give those who have never experienced this Zombies mode the chance to shoot zombies in Call of Duty: Cold War. For the first time in the history of this Battle Royale series, Zombies mode will be free to try, this event will run from January 14, 2021 – January 21, 2021.

• Die Maschine: This mode is similar to the traditional round Zombies mode and allows up to 4 players. Teams must team up and utilize a variety of weapons, equipment, Scorestreaks, Field Upgrades, … to navigate the vast map of Poland – inspired in part by the original Zombies map in Call of Duty: World at War. In particular, players can use weapons obtained through the Cold War Battle Pass.​

• Cranked: This mode is inspired by the movie of the same name Crank (2006) by Jason Statham. In this mode, players are timed and must kill all zombies before time runs out. Otherwise, the player will be blown up.​

• Onslaught (PS4 and PS5 only): This is a Zombies mode for 2 players while teammates are restricted to another part of the map until they can get a loadable Dark Aether Orb. Immediately, the player can move to another area of ​​the map where more powerful enemies are waiting.​

Trial version Free Zombies mode will be available on PC via Blizzard, PS, and Xbox apps from January 14 to January 21, 2021.
