Just two months after Valve announced a reboot of its card game, Artifact It was announced that beta stage will start at the end of this month. In the announcement on Tuesday, Vavle outlined the beta strategy and conditions for participating in the test.

Additionally, the beta will likely provide access to Artifact’s backstory. This is content listed among other experimental priorities, including gameplay balance, color and hero properties, social features, card unlocking, ratings, viewing and playback features. The update also reiterates that players can no longer buy cards as before, although ideas for other in-game purchases are being considered.
