Although the developer is old and crooked, the Kimetsu no Yaiba plagiarism game is still kicked out of Google Play

As reported, recently appeared a title mobile games Korea with style, worldview, and characters identical to Kimetsu no Yaiba, while the official titles are far from being released. When criticized by the gaming community as well as fans of the original, the developer Tennine still insisted that this was a coincidence, not a plagiarism.​

According to the Korean press, the game has been available on Google Play since April 24, but on April 27 it stopped serving players. From 8 pm that day, the game was removed from the app store, all paid items in the game also disappeared, and the money was returned to the player. This “coincidence not plagiarism” game will also close all servers from 10 am on April 29.​

It seems that this game stopped working and disappeared from Google Play so quickly partly due to the negative review comments of players. After discovering traces of plagiarism of the game, the gaming community as well as fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba competed to vote 1 star for this application. The game management team shared: “We are extremely sorry for the issues surrounding our product recently. After a long tumultuous time, we have come to the conclusion that it is no longer possible to operate this game.” Thus, from the time it appeared to the time it stopped working, this game lasted no more than 5 days.​

Back to the original Kimetsu no Yaiba, mobile version in style Battle Royale Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Keppuu Kengeki Royale is expected to be released this year. Version PS4 will be released later in 2021 as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan.
