Tencent Games has just introduced Undawn, an open-world co-op action game developed by the PUBG MOBILE team. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, players will have to find a way to survive the threats from zombies and other human groups. Undawn will launch on iOS, Android and PC this 2021.
“With Undawn, we wanted to create a new genre of action game that combines open-world freedom with RPG elements. They will completely redefine the game genre…”, said Rick Li, Executive Producer of Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, Tencent Games. “…Having both mobile and PC platforms means global players can come together to survive the post-apocalypse, potentially creating a new open-world experience.”
The world has been swept by zombies, and it is your responsibility to survive and thrive in the harsh environment. Combining PvP and PvE gameplay, Undawn is a refreshing experience for the open-world survival. To survive in this vast environment, you must gather resources, craft better materials and weapons, and fight enemies: both zombies and humans.
To grow, people must work together to build shelters, exchange resources, and fight off zombies. Developed using Unreal Engine 4, Undawn’s massive open world will push the limits of both graphics and multiplayer gameplay.
