10. Tayuya

Tayuya is the only female subordinate of Orochimaru – one of the 3 Sannin (Three nin) of Konohakagure (Known Village). No one knows about her past, only that she is one of the Five Monsters of Sound: Sakon, Jiroubou, Kidoumaru, Tayuya and Kimimaro. All five are Orochimaru’s henchmen. Nara Shikamaru says that among the most dangerous genjutsu are those that affect the opponent with sound allowing the user to hide. Tayuya is a great example of this kind of sound-based, long-range combat. While fighting Nara Shikamaru was about to win, when Shikamaru was helped by Temari of Sunakagure (Sand Village). Temari used an iron fan to make Tayuya’s flute echo back to herself, killing Tayuya instantly.

9. Yuhi Kurenai

The true range of Kurenai’s abilities has yet to be revealed. But her skill in using genjutsu is so good that it is said to rival Itachi Uchiha. Much of her jutsu revolves around flowers, mainly using large trees to bind enemies and petals for various purposes. She can also attack multiple opponents at once, as seen in her battle with Hoshigaki Kisame and Uchiha Itachi. Itachi, who is a genius in genjutsu, also praised her ability. In addition, she can make genjutsu work against its creator. In animeshe can even go into other people’s subconscious to know their true nature.

8. Kurama Yakumo

The last surviving member of the main branch of the Kurama clan, and the heir to the clan. Her Genjutsu ability is so strong that only someone possessing equivalent genjutsu power has a chance to escape. Furthermore, genjutsu is powerful enough to convince the victim’s brain to physically react to whatever happens to their body, making it possible for her to kill her opponent with genjutsu with ease. Despite her physical weakness, Yakumo’s talent in genjutsu is completely overwhelming and effective over a large area, because she is able to place the entire Konoha in a powerful illusion. However, it still cannot affect certain animals, such as kikaichu.

7. Yakushi Kabuto

Kabuto is a Konoha ninja. Kabuto was adopted by a talented Medical Ninja – the captain of Konoha’s ambulance team during a Kykio battle, before that no one knew about his past. Kabuto is Orochimaru’s most powerful henchman, talented spy, and proudest disciple. Kabuto himself is also adept at genjutsu. He is capable of making the entire audience fall asleep, except for those who can detect and counter Nirvana. After being implanted with Tayuya’s DNA, this character is also able to use a special magic from her music: Demon enemy: Dreaming of the sound. With this move, he was able to bind Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke at the same time, making it impossible for them to escape their own genjutsu despite both being good at genjutsu.

6. Jiraiya (Hamo Sage)

Ha Mo Fairy or Fairy Toad – Jiraiya possesses the magic ability of toads. This is a kind of powerful magic and hypnotize others with song. After the opponent hears this song, the whole body will be paralyzed. During the battle between Jiraiya and Pain, he used the Sage Technique to summon two old toads, Shima and Fukasaku. These two old toads used this hypnosis to knock Pain’s summoner away.
