The worst games of 2018

Review site Metacritic has just released a list of the most underrated games of 2018 and the results may surprise some gamers.

List of the 10 worst games of 2018, according to Metacritic:

  • Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn (Average Metacritic: 36)
  • Underworld Ascendant (Average Metacritic: 36)
  • Hollow (Average Metacritic: 36)
  • One Piece: Grand Cruise (Average Metacritic: 35)
  • Super Seducer: How to Talk to Girls (Average Metacritic: 35)
  • Past Cure (Average Metacritic: 34)
  • Agony (Average Metacritic: 34)
  • Fantasy Hero: Unsigned Legacy (Average Metacritic: 34)
  • Gene Rain (Average Metacritic: 32)
  • The Quiet Man (Average Metacritic: 29)

Some people are quite surprised by the Metacritic listing. In addition to the much-anticipated Agony before launch, the rest of the games are quite strange.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, although it is a legendary NBA game and reboot of the classic Shaq, but it is not as good as many people think. Similarly, Super Seducer: How to Talk to Girls is blocked on PlayStation, which means many people cannot play the game and they are disappointed by this.

The 10 Most Disappointing Big Games of 2018

On the other hand, some might be disappointed that the most disappointing game of the year wasn’t on the list of worst rated games. Games like Fallout 76 were heavily criticized when they first came out. Fans are not happy with the decision to bring the single-player series of games online, not to mention the technical problems players have encountered while playing the game. The controversy surrounding the quality of the game does not seem to have affected Metacritic’s assessment enough.
