Modder zomprd has upgraded part of Rogue Encampment in Diablo 2 and is planning to release a playable demo with Graphics high solution. These HQ textures are built with ESRGAN and they definitely look a lot sharper than the original at 800 x 600 max resolution.

At the moment, zomprd has no plans to finalize Diablo 2 with the new graphics, but hopes the demo release will inspire those who might be able to do a full graphic re-creation of the title.
