The Game Awards is an annual game festival held in December to honor the year’s most successful games as well as make other important announcements. As usual, this event honoring the best game of 2020 is hosted by Geoff Keighley.
Although there was no direct audience, the producer created an engaging experience with an interactive program, broadcast on a variety of media. The Game Awards also featured Gal Gadot, Keanue Reeves, Reggie Fils-Aimé and many other memorable faces.
Many game genres are named to win this year’s award. Before the event took place, The Last of Us Part 2 topped with 9 nominations, including Game of The Year. Other games such as Hades, Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy 7 Remake also received many nominations.
