Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Sutdios released the gameplay trailer for the co-op zombie game Back 4 Blood for pc at The Game Awards 2020.
Back 4 Blood is a 4-player zombie co-op game on PC and is considered the successor to Valve’s famous Left 4 Dead franchise. But not stopping there, Chris Ashton, head of Turtle Rock Studios also has a big surprise for Back 4 Blood fans.
Before introducing the trailer, Ashton said Back 4 Blood’s vision “will be bigger than” Left 4 Dead: more enemies, quests, and playable characters. Turtle Rock Studios split from Valve in 2011, and many of the original members of the Left 4 Dead series focused on developing Back 4 Blood. The game is expected to revive the successful formula of Left 4 Dead.
The trailer begins in a safe room decorated with graffiti and four survivors. The pre-alpha gameplay trailer introduces the familiar shooting scenes in L4D. Things took a turn for the better when giant zombies appeared below the earthen cage.
Seemingly unable to defeat it, the group runs into the cellar, but soon encounters another horde of zombies in pursuit.
