The international fixtures 2019
The International 2019 is the closing tournament of the Dota Pro Circuit and the 9th annual edition of The International. The tournament will be held for the first time on Chinese soil, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. After formatting the previous year, a Majors performance-based points system selects and invites 12 teams to attend The International 2019.
1. Prizes
– The tournament’s initial prize pool is $1,600,000 USD.
– An additional 25% of all Battle Pass sales are added to the total prize pool. These sales include purchasing the Battle Pass at multiple levels as well as purchasing points that are used to level up the Battle Pass in the Dota 2 game.
– Current prize pool is $26,425,358 USD (additional $24,825,353 USD).

+ 6 teams qualified through the Regional Qualifier: each from China, Southeast Asia, North America, South America, CIS and Europe.
– Regional Qualifiers (July 7 to July 14, 2019)
+ BO1 group stage to advance to Playoffs
+ Playoffs excluded 2 times, winner is eligible to attend TI9
– Group Stage TI9 (Group Stage) in Shanghai: Taking place from August 15 to August 18, 2019
– Main Event (Main Event): August 20 to August 25, 2019
