A new game is being made by Keiichiro Toyamathe famous director behind Silent Hill and series Siren. Toyama announced that he is working on a new game project produced by the indie studio he founded earlier this year. The new game will have a horror atmosphere, but it won’t be quite the traditional horror game.
Toyama shared that: “The new game is being developed at Bokeh Game Studio. It is “an exciting action adventure game that will appeal to fans of my previous works”. Toyama also added that “This will be a game with a horror element. But we’re going to focus on making it a broader experience, rather than a purely horror game.
The game will launch in 2023 with the main version on the PC platform. Joining Toyama on this project are several other Sony Japan Studio veterans, including Kazunobu Sato and Junya Okura. Sato served as a producer on the Siren and The Last Guardian series, and he will take on the same role in the new project. Okura is the principal level designer of Siren and Gravity Rush and will be the game director at Bokeh Game Studio.
Bokeh Game Studio is committed to updating the progress of this game project regularly on Twitter and Facebook.
