The best selling new games on Steam in April

Are you wondering which new games are best-selling on Steam in April? Valve is wondering the same thing as you.

“We continue to be impressed with the number of games that launch on Steam every month and the variety of them,” valve said in his latest blog post. “In each month, the most popular new releases represent a wide range of genres, genres and themes. They can be a global hit or appeal to a certain audience in a particular region.”

This list doesn’t mean the top 20 earning games of the month – Vacation Simulator obviously can’t beat Mortal Kombat 11’s revenue. Instead, Valve looks at the revenue earned by each new game in April during its first two weeks of release to determine the top 20 best-selling titles, and ranks them by release date.

• Marz: Tactical Base Defense – April 4
• Supraland – April 5
• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy – April 9
• Vacation Simulator – April 9
• Zanki Zero: Last Beginning – April 10
• Pathway – April 11
• Weedcraft Inc – April 11
• Staxel – April 11
• One Finger Death Punch 2 – 15 April
• Forager – April 18
• Pagan Online – April 18
• Katana Zero – April 18
• Driftland: The Magic Revival – April 18
• Paper Dolls Original – April 19
• Mortal Kombat 11 – 23 April
• Imperator: Rome – April 25
• Mordhau – April 29

Although we don’t have specific numbers, the list is quite interesting.

Mortal Kombat is of course on the list, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Katana Zero are equally popular. But Zanki Zero, Marz, and Paper Dolls Original are only available to select players. This list shows that the number of games on Steam is very diverse and always finds its own loyal fan base.
