Rocksteady Studios with the Batman: Arkham series will return to the DC Comics world with the blockbuster Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game is expected to be released in 2022.
Introduced at the DC FanDome, the first trailer reveals the Suicide Squad lineup that includes Hayley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and Kingshark. As the title suggests and in the trailer, Superman becomes the villain (or whatever) and Suicide Squad is tasked with eliminating the Justice League.
The plot of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League closely follows the Suicide Squad manga. The villains of the DC Universe contract with the government to create Task Force X, performing missions for complete leniency.
In this case, the villains will benefit from eliminating the Justice League. In addition, it seems that Brainiac is also involved in the reason that makes Justice League so evil.
Rocksteady appeared in the stream to share more details, including gameplay like the Arkham games plus gunfights.

Suicide Squad will be a 1 to 4 player game. Rocksteady said that the game is completely single-player, with the machine taking care of the remaining three characters. Or you can invite 3 more friends to play four people.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is due out on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Therefore, this is only a game for next-gen consoles.
