Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition is live, with over 40 demos slated for the original GDC event. You can check out the Steam page for a more detailed list.
The cancellation of this year’s GDC due to the Corona epidemic has caused a huge shock to indie game developers who depended on Megabooth and Day of the Devs at GDC to showcase their products. To help them out, Geoff Keighley and Steam launched the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition event to showcase these new titles.
The first event took place in December 2019, in partnership with The Game Awards. The 2019 event gives users a “first-time experience with demos” of more than a dozen games for a limited time. This Spring Edition will be much larger, with more than 40 games featured.
And it will also last longer: The demo from the first festival lasted only 48 hours, but for this event, it will run from now until March 23.
